How Do I Choose the Best Class for My Tennis Player?

Varsity – Classes at the varsity level require some competitive experience. Varsity classes incorporate many live ball drills that require players to be able to sustain a rally or hit multiple shots back and forth before they make an error. This common ability provides all with quality repetitions and leads to improvement. Everyone wants to challenge themselves but moving up before you are ready will result in spending most of your time picking up balls rather than hitting them.

Middle School / Junior Varsity – Classes at this level are for players with little or no competitive experience. These classes start with a combination of hand-fed and coach-fed balls to help build proper tennis strokes. As players improve their ability to produce good strokes, they progress to live ball drills. This approach maximizes the number of balls each player hits and is the best path to improvement and readiness for higher level classes.
