Renee Hand
Tennis Director, Elite Professional

Renee Hand

Renee brings more than three decades of playing and teaching experience. Certified by USPTR and RSPA, she tailors lessons to each player and has developed junior programs that support both personal growth and player development.

She works with beginner, intermediate, and advanced players of every age, including athletes who have progressed to collegiate competition. Her professionalism, lifelong learning, and genuine love for tennis make a lasting impact.

Bryan Morrow
Tennis Professional

Bryan Morrow

Bryan has taught at Peachtree for more than 30 years and brings enthusiasm, energy, and encouragement to players of all ages and levels.

He has also served as head coach of the Wayne State men’s tennis team for 18 years, developing five All-Americans. Bryan has been named GLIAC Coach of the Year four times and NCAA National Coach of the Year in 2022.

Matt Akers
Tennis Professional

Matt Akers

Matt has decades of experience as both a player and instructor at Peachtree. He competed in singles and doubles at Wayne State University, held a top 25 Division II ranking for three years, and has played and taught internationally.

Matt emphasizes consistency, smart shot selection, and “High Percentage Tennis.” He works with players of all ages and abilities, with a recent focus on JV and varsity-level students.

Vanessa Roxas
Junior Program Lead Professional

Vanessa Roxas

Vanessa brings more than 12 years of tennis experience, several years of coaching, and a Bachelor’s degree in Education. She coaches the Cousino High School girls’ tennis team and previously competed at the varsity level.

She leads Peachtree’s Orange Ball, Challengers, and Junior Beginner classes, assists with adult classes, and creates a positive environment where players can learn, progress, and enjoy the game.

Connor Hoch
Tennis Professional

Connor Hoch

Connor has coached at Peachtree since 2021. A former number one singles player for Chippewa Valley High School, he competes at the NTRP 4.5 level and has participated in several USTA Nationals events.

He works with players of all ages and abilities, designing lessons around individual playing styles. In 2025, Connor served as Head JV Coach for the Dakota High School girls’ tennis program.
