Renee brings over three decades of experience in both playing and instructing tennis. She is certified by USPTR and RSPA and holds the distinction of Elite Professional. Her deep passion for the sport, comprehensive knowledge, and unwavering dedication enable her to tailor lessons to meet each individual's needs effectively. Renee has successfully developed junior programs over the years, fostering opportunities for personal growth and player development. She inspires a genuine love for the game among her students.
Her expertise extends to working with beginner, intermediate, and advanced players across all age groups and abilities, including many who have progressed to collegiate-level competition. Renee engages juniors, teens, and adults through both recreational and advanced instructional levels, delivering private and group lessons that support continuous advancement. She maintains a commitment to lifelong learning, consistently seeking new insights to share with others. With over 12 years of tennis experience and several years dedicated to coaching, she brings a comprehensive background in both playing and instructing. Vanessa holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education, which enables me to integrate sound pedagogical practices into her tennis coaching methodology. Currently, she serves as the coach for the Cousino High School girls’ tennis team and previously competed at the varsity level for Sterling Heights High School. Her passion lies in supporting players across all age groups and skill levels, with particular expertise in developing young beginners. As the lead professional for the club’s junior programs—including Orange Ball, Challengers, and Junior Beginner classes—she is committed to fostering foundational skills and enthusiasm for the sport. Additionally, she contributes as an assistant professional for adult classes. Whether working with juniors new to the game or adults seeking to refine their skills, her objective is to cultivate a positive and encouraging environment that allows every player to learn, progress, and find enjoyment in tennis.
Vanessa Roxas
Connor has been coaching at Peachtree Tennis Club since 2021, bringing extensive competitive and instructional experience to each session. As the former #1 singles player for Chippewa Valley High School, he currently competes at the NTRP 4.5 level and has participated in several USTA Nationals events as part of previous USTA leagues. In 2025, he had the privilege of serving as Head JV Coach for the Dakota High School girls tennis program. He approaches tennis as both an educator and lifelong learner, continually expanding his knowledge while supporting others in their development. He works with players of all ages and abilities, designing tailored lessons that accommodate individual playing styles to ensure effective and engaging learning experiences.
Connor Hoch
Matt has accumulated approximately 27 years of tennis experience at Peachtree Tennis Club. He competed for four years in both singles and doubles at Wayne State University, achieving a top 25 Division II ranking for three years. His teaching and playing career also includes international experience in England, Jamaica, the Dominican Republic, and Spain.
Matt has been a player and an instructor at Peachtree Tennis Club for approximately 40 years. He began playing tennis at the age of six. One of his guiding philosophies is reflected in the quote by Rafael Nadal: “Losing is not the enemy. Fear of losing is my enemy.” Matt emphasizes consistency and making appropriate shot selections according to the situation, a principle he refers to as “High Percentage Tennis.”
Teaching Preferences:
He will work with students of all ages and abilities, but as of late he has been working with JV/Varsity level students.
